Closing the Loop

I went recycling with my mom today. We've been going to this recycling center since I was little and the guy that manages the place still works here. Let's say it's been a good 12-15 years that he's been working at this recycling center. Not much has changed since we first began recycling here. It's still in the sane location, same guy (all the time. Does he even take vacation?), same big metal container with all the cans and bottles. One change worth mentioning is that busy is booming. There are so many recyclers now. Everybody is saving up those cans and coming in with bags and bags, and trucks and trucks. Literally, we saw three pick-up trucks with their flat beds filled. Crazy!

Anyway our spoils came out to be $29! Not bad for just collecting cans and bottles in the garage.
