Prayer Flags

We visited the White Eagle Lodge at Liss today, but the Temple wasn?t open in spite of signs saying that Sunday is one of the open days. The grounds are vast and always something of interest. Today it was prayer flags, blowing strongly in the breeze, wafting prayers to heaven. Some were Buddhist, some had English prayers written on them, the occasional ribbon for an anonymous prayer. It is a place of healing and tranquillity, if ever prayers could be wafted heavenwards, it has to be here.

You can see the main Temple buidings in the background.
