Monday 25 April 2011: Anemone blanda

This was the last of our five-day Easter Weekend. We spent most of the weekend at the allotment, enjoying the best time of the year. Weather was sunny and summer-like (day temperatures between 15 and 20°C), the daffodils and hellebores were flowering and the single frog was singing all night in the mini pond.

Today we heard the first European Pied Flycatcher for the year.

Back blips begin here.

Hope you had a great weekend, too!
