Tuesday 26 April 2011: Saxifrage corner
We are "remodelling" the front garden. This is a garden which has been neglected for years and had a touch of the 'student household' about it. My mum came down on Friday to help with sorting it out - in fact she's slaved over it solidly since then. The skip is now half full and we have a perfect, level, manured surface, a new path and edging and all is ready for delivery of an acer palmatum tomorrow, and a small lavender hedge, as well as 2 cubic metres of gravel arriving tomorrow. We have three hours to shovel that in to the garden. What a challenge!
