Saturday 30 April 2011: Forget-me-not
Today I'm back at the location of one of my most viewed blips Broken Lives.
The last time I was in the graveyard of St. John's Parish Church, Baildon, it was the depths of winter, and although it was still an overgrown space, most of the gravestones were visible at least. Today, the area had been overwhelmed by lush spring growth, with the Forget-me-not providing a poignant juxtaposition with the remembrance.
I was a bit torn in composition between focusing on the Forget-me-not, or the elegy on the gravestone. I've selected the latter, but you can see a Forget-me-not focused version here.
