Paddling again

Such a lovely sunny day again, we hung around in the garden and then went down to the river for some splashing about. Only Noah got very wet, sitting down mid step; Lily made a pool for everyone and Rohan made a pool for pirates. I think.
In stark contrast to the gentle flow of the river, peace and quiet etc, we then went to the co-op for ice lollies, where on the way we had to wade through an army of very young cider drinkers, who were hanging about in the square, enjoying the rugby sevens (from a great distance).
I think it might be a noisy evening ahead.
