Tuesday 3 May 2011: Half Pint
Jack and I had the privilege of meeting this sweet calf! His name is 'Half Pint' and he was born two weeks ago. He was premature, and unfortunately his mother will not care for him. He needs to be bottle fed by his owners Billy and Sandy, my brother-in-laws aunt and uncle.
When we first got to their house, Half Pint was curled up comfortably against the foundation of the house in with the daffodills and other flowers. He is really quite small, his back only coming up to Jacks waist. To give you an idea, Jack is only 3 ft. tall!!
Jack and his cousin Hannah had such a good time playing with him, feeding him, and getting to know him.
