Tuesday 3 May 2011: Today's Excellent Adventure
A quick walk around our Arboretum--a place full of Australian plants, bees and hummingbirds. We had just heard a talk by local author Geoff Dunn about his upcoming book called The Lies of Sarah Palin: The Untold Story Behind Her Relentless Quest for Power. I debated about whether or not to include a political reference here, but, hey, it sounds like a terrific read and it was a big part of my day. I could just talk about harvesting the favas to make room for the pole beans that are begging to be planted, but then you might think I never leave the backyard...
