Sunday 8 May 2011: Daily bread
Big big sleep this morning, followed by German style brunch. That is ham, not bacon, fresh fruit, from garden, omelette and lashings of coffee. When everyone was feeling revived we went for a wander. The french celebrate the end of the 2nd world war today. In little villages, like mine, they name the dead and sing the national anthem. Quite poignant to go with my German friend who was very moved.
Our friends left for Paris, quick back blip for my hundredth blip then I attended to my garden which was begging for attention.
