And the Winner is ....

..... Alexandra!!!!!


Today has been cold, wet and grey.. yuck!!

I did the usual things, shopping, washing and sorting things out.

And then at 3.30pm the phone rings.

Alexandra had won a hamper in a Mother's Day competition, run by a local store.

We rang her immediately, and she collected it on the way home.

Apart from the beautiful suitcase it was in, inside there was :-

A lovely cup and saucer. (cute)

A box of chocolates. (yum!)

A heart shaped tin with handcream and soap. (nice)

A cd of David Hobson (easy on the ear)

A cookery book on Leftover Makeovers. ( just what I need)

and finally a Jane Austen dvd box set with : Pride and Prejudice
Sense and Sensibility
Emma
Persuasion (awesome)

And how did she win this? She had to write why she thought I deserved this as a Mother's Day present.

My daughter is a star, and very, very special!
