Monday 9 May 2011: Trillium

I spent a nice long time on my knees this morning looking at these furry stamens from all angles. Never mind that I had a teeny tiny bit of trouble springing back to my feet, or that I now had leaves and grasses mixed in with the cat hair on my fleece robe, these days it's my idea of a real good time to be out in the garden before breakfast, staring and staring at all the wild and wonderful things that change by the minute.
