Camouflage

The pair of ducks are back at the Chinese gardens after being absent for a few weeks. They had two lots of ducklings during spring/summer but as there is not enough food to feed them all they died and I feel that the couple went of and had another clutch elsewhere. I do love seeing them making themselves at home in the gardens. They have taken to resting on top of the lotus pots much to the gardeners consternation.

Life at the gardens has slowed down quite a bit and so I have more time to contemplate the beauty of the autumnal season. Was going to post an image of blossom against autumn leaves but the duck won the day.
