HOLD ON TO THE CAMERA WHEN YOU'RE LEANING OUT THE WINDOW!!!!!!!!!!
Cameras do not like being dropped 7 floors. Believe me.. the sound when it hit the ground was .... Well, I think you understand the feeling. Live and learn.
Luckily it was the 40D and not the Mark II and yes.. that's WAS my 100-400mm zoom.
