Monday 16 May 2011: Faces of Fiona #24

Well, not exactly her face. This is more appropriate lately. She is 15 1/2 months but it sure feels like "2". She has gotten very willful recently and will lay down and kick and arch her back and bang her head on the sidewalk if things aren't going her way. Like today - that's why I am following her on the front sidewalk where she has dragged 2 shopping bags full after taking them down a flight of stairs and banging at the front door. (I had to take some stuff out as it was dragging her down)_ she loves to hook any bag over her arm like a purse. A VERY Trying day. We did one Aquarium trip and I do have to say we can actually stay in front of some exhibit long enuf now to learn something (Today we saw the little plankton that become barnacles! And watched the sea urchins eat kelp! both fascinating.)
We SO need a break from these grandkids and a little peace and quiet and staying put in one place - we're headed for the island in the am for 3 weeks! You also get a break from the kid blips :-) back to trees and water .......can't wait. Lots of work to get the place ready for summer, there is not unlimited fast internet there but I will do my best.....
