Bananas Bananas!

I've tried many different types of bananas here in Thailand. We have the regular long, big type that I grew up with and many smaller varieties. Most are just eaten plain, but you can also get them fried, roasted, or grilled. Some of the smaller varieties have an occasional black, hard seed in the middle. The first time I ate one I was very surprised to find a seed the size of a pea distracting from the delicious banana taste and texture I was enjoying.
