Saturday 21 May 2011: Early warning
Wandered around Kensington this afternoon looking for a picture and encountered Les with his budgie, Jessie.
They met in a petshop five years ago and immediately bonded. they have been inseparable since.
Jessie likes warm humid weather so life is clearly a bit difficult in Calgary. Jessie loves being taken for walks outside when the weather is warm. She is very aware of crows and magpies which can apparently swoop down to attack her. She has a sixth sense for the presence of those birds
Here she is clearly happy and is preening her feathers: no crows or magpies on the radar.
