Tuesday 24 May 2011: Ash cloud sunset?
Plan tonight had been to head to Dunbar again with a fellow blipper but I reckoned the wind would have been too extreme for down on the exposed beach down there so decided against it. In the end, got caught up with one thing and another and grabbed 20 minutes down by the bridge more to get something rather than nothing. Sadly, the sunset through the ash cloud wasn't what we all hoped for, normal cloud stopped play sadly!
Took well over 100 shots of the waves crashing in on the beach and 1 long exposure shot, took an age to decide but finally went with the one with the wave motion.
