Wednesday 25 May 2011: Yorkshire Rose

I've featured the hedge of wild Yorkshire Rose that we share with our neighbours before. My second blip in December had it at the bright rosehip stage, so it seems only right to show what it looks like in flower.

The individual flowers don't seem to last long, and the recent strong winds have brought many petals to the lawn, but the hedge as a whole seems to keep flowering into the summer.

Something of an emergency back garden blip on a dull, busy day.
