Friday 27 May 2011: Stupid fool
My aim was to experiment with getting some pix for this momentum thing. Things happened before I could get different shots.
Luckily I chose a grassy bank to ride down. I was going a bit fast so I pulled the brakes on - ping - oh dear my front brake has gone. Harder on the rear - ping - oh dear no brakes. Luckily I was able to swerve across the hill and stop. If I'd been on a road I think I'd be looking at a broken 500D now. I did say it was an old bike. New cables on order.
