Saturday 28 May 2011: Flaxen Feathers
The angle of the sun made this a difficult image to capture and I doubt I have done this justice. It is almost an iconic kiwi image. Sunlight filtered through the flaxen seed heads of the ubiquitous NZ toi toi bush seen from coast to coast and up a few valleys too.
Lovely light albeit harsh and unforgiving and showing up the pollutants in the air.
