Marple Canal

Final day in Marple today, but we all had a long lie first. Then it was off to the pub to catch 'The Bell' for a trip up the canal. A nice leisurely trip, although it rained for most of the time.

Halfway back, a canal boat had come free from its moorings, so it was blocking the canal. A boat coming the other way had to nudge it back into the side. Our driver [if you call them a driver?] helped tie it up again. A bit of excitement that would have made a great episode of Rosie & Jim. :)

Back to the pub for lunch, and then to the airport for the flight home.
