Tuesday 31 May 2011: A waiting game
It was a fine view from the waiting area of the Renault garage. But it lost a lot of its charm after waiting there for nearly two hours.
They'd told me changing the wheel would be a twenty-minute job - but as they said after the event, apparently checking the non-working rear window involved virtually taking the car apart. Apparently.
I couldn't help mentioning that they might have warned me.
