It's Bank Holiday Monday so of course the weather has changed - grey, cool and drizzly. I had a wander down to the sea and got rained upon, I had a wander around the garden, and got drizzled upon and the pea flower blip from inside the polytunnel was not that thrilling to be honest, so it's a stack of colourful bowls, not that thrilling either but it is topical as we had the most monumental amount of washing up after last night's meal. A very good evening was had, with much hilarity. There were seven of us, all exhausted but in a good way and ready for lots of wine, silly conversation and of course, a game of pictionary! The pizza was delicious as were the first of our new potatoes. I also made a fruit compote and to accompany this had bought the last of the ice cream from the local shop - it was very very bad - banana flavour apparently, but I don't think any real bananas were harmed in the making of it.
Back to work tomorrow, I think a nature walk might be in order.
