Today has been another day off school for teacher training.

I wanted to go for a walk around Wiken fen, a mile down the road from our house and is part of the National trust.
We walked the Nature trail, which we havent done before, normally we have just been round the short board walk trail.
Fred as usual found a stick to keep amused.
Took some photo's on the way round, one of this flower and managed to catch a picture of a dragon fly.
Back near the visitors centre they have a Dragonfly and Damsel fly pond, whilst watching we were fortunate to see a Damsel fly emerging out from the water seenhere.

Going to get the kids to help make a Lime drizzle cake for a Macmillian coffee morning at work tomorrow. Will post a photo of all the cakes.

Have a good evening

We have had cherries off the tree today - they are lovely
