Thursday 9 June 2011: Macmillian coffee morning
Todays blip is all about cake.
We held a charity fundraiser in aid of Macmillian cancer care. It totally amazes me the effort people put into making cakes for this event. The table was full.
The cake in the picture was made by a Olga, which was chocolate cake with fresh stawberries on top.
Another girl made some amazing cupcakes seen here and here.
This is Roz with the cakes for sale.
We also held a raffle of which all the prizes were donated by people in the department, a local garden centre and Millies cookies as seen here.
I dont know what the final total was, so will post that information tomorrow.
