Thursday 9 June 2011: Olympic Torch Tour
Earlier this week the Olympic Torch was unveiled with each one of the holes on the handle representing the people who will take part in the 70 day Torch Relay throughout the length and breadth of the country next year starting on 19 May until the opening ceremony.
A prototype of the torch was in Manchester today and they are looking for nominations to carry the torch. Someone who has made a difference, big or small, in their community.
