Wednesday 8 June 2011: Twit

I saw this little fellow looking at me through the undergrowth. He is a white faced owl. They come in two varieties, northern and southern. I am not sure which he is but I will go for northern as I was in North Yorkshire at the time when I saw him.

He was further from home as they are usually found in Africa.
