Walking a tightrope

when there is a crowd watching is quite tricky.

Sometimes you feel like morbid curiosity - the tiny hope of something terrible happening - is what makes them watch. But you also feel like they are holding their breath till you make it to the other side, safe and sound.

Despite my apparent tone, it's been a good day, with most enjoyable lessons with lovely children and a very entertaining meeting.

The only downside is a ginormous (that IS a word) coldsore on my lip which is really painful and is making my mouth hurt. Not so much that I can't talk or shout, mind you. So no benefits for anyone else.

That's all.

Night.
