Through One Iris to Another!

I took this macro looking through the petals of a lighter lavender one to a deeper shade of blue Iris that you see in the background. Like a petal peep hole. Hope you enjoy:)

Kids have been gone all day doing their wedding shower related activities. Big R and I worked out in the backyard weeding and me doing some macro shots. I did a bit of weeding too but Big R wins the weeding award of the day. And the hooligans ran about chasing and teasing each other, sleeping in dirt holes they'd made and "chatting" with the dog over the backyard fence .

The sun finally made it's appearance which is nice to enjoy considering it IS JUNE!
