Saturday 11 June 2011: gnawing away
With a bit of straightening and some work with some layers (but no distortion correction, which softened it a bit too much) it's acceptable, but a 35mm would have made a much better job of this. Still haven't decided whether to try the DX 1.8 or pick up a secondhand f2 when there appears to be one available at exactly what I sold mine for, which is also what new ones point eight appear to demand. HMMM. Seeing as the 24mm is a bit ropey wide open and I no longer quite need 2.8 to be able to use it at all it can be considered to be expendable. Though it is handy for use in video mode. Hmmm.
