Sunday 12 June 2011: Girl by the Geraniums

This is a rare photograph of our youngest daughter G, wearing a dress...

The pretty dress she has on is a present from her godmother (we received it in the mail two days ago)-- just in time for G to be, ahem, persuaded to wear it for a few hours yesterday at her piano recital, and again this evening for a few hours when we went to a neighborhood potluck and going-away party for friends N, M, and their toddler JB...

Otherwise she is in that interesting stage where she has been declaring she wants only to live in scruffy sneakers, jeans, and oversized T-shirts, preferably from the boys' department store section.
