Tuesday 14 June 2011: Faces of Fiona #25
"I don't know" is her answer to our question "where is your paci?" (pacifier)
Fiona is starting to say a few words but I think this answer is totally clear and doesn't need any words at all!
It's been a few weeks, and it's not monday, our regular day, with this last granddaughter (she's 16+ mos now), but we rally enjoyed her - she is so fun and happy- - she has just started a regular daycare/preschool 3 days a week so now our day (when we are in town) is Tues. Her Mom has Wednesdays off to be with her. She grew up a lot in the last 3-4 weeks. This picture was taken today outside in front of the (you guessed it!) aquarium where she had a great squealing time amid many busloads of school kids.
Tomorrow it's back to the island! (managed a blip of each grandchild in the week we were in Seattle....)
A word about moose: (see the moose blip 2 days ago) There are about 1000 moose in the State of Washington (who knew?) mostly in he NE corner near Idaho and British Columbia. It's a bit smaller subspecies, (Shiras) but still to be given lots of room when spotted and yes, they can be aggressive for many reasons at all seasons. And be careful driving , as they do cause serious accidents on the road!
