These pieces of old silver (part of a samovar and coffee service set) rest on one of the shelves of a little Turkish coffee shop I go to here in our general neighborhood.

I go there to write and to enjoy a cup of strong coffee or Turkish tea. There are only a few tables; there's WiFi but not so much the bustle in the more commercial coffee shops, which I like.

And here is "Anniversary", my poem yesterday now up on Via Negativa --- it is the 87th poem in the spring Morning Porch poem series; which brings the number of poems I have been writing daily since November 20, 2010 (counting the winter Morning Porch poems) to around 185 poems...
