Stupid, Awful School

We went to visit a Montessori school in Phoenix for Bob.

My day started with a migraine and only got worse from there.

We showed up to the school with Bob and they look at him like he's covered in worms or something and proceed to explain (in a very condescending manner) that children are not allowed on the tour, unlike every other school we've visited.

We have a group meeting with a bunch of other parents with the head master or whatever these wackos call the head guy who does a great job evading answers and pandering to the one mother he knows he can get the most money from.

So now rather than let Bob see the school he might attend, I had to take him out in the Arizona sun (with my migraine) and kill some time in a goofy playground so that Jennifer could be ushered around (in total silence) the class rooms.

While in the school playground I saw a group of young children with an adult and spent several minutes trying to figure out if it was some kind of work crew or a class. The adult was scruffy looking and the kids looked like they were digging in the dirt, so I just could not make up my mind.

Finally, after the tour Jennifer was informed that they didn't have room for Bob in next year's class. Yes, they decided to hold that piece of information until AFTER they made us go through all the rest of their crap.
