The River Clyde

Happy Father's Day to all the dads :))

D went off early for his usual round of Sunday morning golf. It was pouring with rain but he informs it never rains on a golf course!!

When D got back A gave him his Father's Day pressie (golf balls!) and a card that he had made at school, which featured a pic of A holding a Happy Father's Day banner and wearing a beaming smile. No mean feat as now he's a moody teenager, he's not keen on smiling on demand for the camera!

This afternoon A went to spend the afternoon at friends and D and I decided to try and clear our heads by going for a run in the car. Ended up in the Clyde Valley and although the weather was pretty terrible, it was good to get out of the house and see some different scenery.

All back home now but I'm popping down to my mum's to give J, her partner of 20 years (who I love like a dad) his Father's Day pressie. A's annoyed that he can't come but my mum started her radiotherapy last week and A had a bit of a runny nose yesterday so don't want him infecting her with anything!!

After that, back to cook D a lovely Father's Day dinner and catch up with blips.
