Bongkot at Dusk

Moved in closer to the Bongkot Field this morning and started running the anchors. We have to install two small jackets and a topside over here. The structure on the left on this picture is a large jacket in two pieces, I assume it is a float-over jacket. It means that the topside will not be placed by a heavy lift vessel but by means of a large freeboard floating barge with the topside on deck moved in between the two jacket pieces, ballasted down after which the overhanging topside will rest on the jackets. The barge will be ballasted further down and pulled out underneath the topside. A simple way to install very heavy topsides without hiring very expensive cranevessels.
