Wednesday 15 June 2011: Inspiration
Someday, I want my garden to look a little bit more like this! This is the yard of a woman I am working with and her boyfriend has completely transformed it into a lovely haven for birds, bees, and a beautiful edible garden. He has all these matching raised beds that stretch around the entire block outside the fence as well. He has shiny metal garbage cans growing potatoes, bird feeders of all kinds, nesting houses for the birds, and a hive with hundreds of bees making honey in the backyard. If they had had a chicken coop I might just have moved right in.
