Lichen Post

In keeping with yesterday's lichen gate, here is an equally pretty post.

I was heading home from an appointment and came the long way around the two mile in the hope of finding birds out and about. I guess I was a little late because the only birds I saw were two pukekos feeding in the paddock behind this post. In the end I decided that the photo of the post was more interesting.

As you can see, it's been doing a fair bit of raining here today.
