Air India memorial

Yay!! School's out and the sun is shining. The pace has not let up though for Lauraly's parents are passing through and coming to dinner. Himself is making a pizza, our potatoes and salads are ready, and a redcurrant crumble is prepared.

Lots of hard work today including decanting the large barrel of seaweed 'tea' into smaller containers (extremely smelly); a mass weed of the remainder of the soft fruit area and sorting out the raspberries.

We forgot however that is is the annual service at the Air India memorial, check the link for details. The flags (India, Canada, Ireland were flying and bouquets and candles left. I popped in on my way home - such a very beautiful spot.

Silage is now being gathered in in the field next to us, I hope the manuring won't take place immediately - rather spoil the dinner party! Catch up later :)
