Saturday 25 June 2011: Major General Mobile
Spotted on the Royal Mile when we were navigating past the Armed Services parade to meet a friend, who was in town for a civil partnership ceremony, at the Jolly Judge for a quick pint. I liked the backdrop provided by the statue of A Smith and the reliance on good old civilian hardware.
And yesterday we were deafened by the Red Arrow display when watching Wimbledon. Until we realised what it was we thought we were under fire :-/
Anyway still waiting for our friend and for the pub to open...
