Sometimes people only see the negative.

Who knows what's going to develop. Who is chasing who?

Down at the HMS Portland that is docked in Leith docks this morning. Had a nice nose around and the sailors were very friendly. They all complained that back at home base (Portsmouth) it was a heat wave but up here in Edinburgh it was a bit chilly.

Then we went to do some ceramics with the girls and then to a 3 year old's party at a soft play out at Ratho. All the kids had fun and there was a lot of chasing around.

With all the cake and sugar rush I'm not sure in the aftermath who ended up being more exhausted, the kids or the parents.

Anyway, I experimented with trailing curtain flash sync during the chasing games.

Making everything negative reminded me of the total opposite of today's experience; that of the quiet and tranquility of the darkroom. Now we're all digital those days are gone.

Oh, and being a parent. Those quiet days are definitely gone.
