Monday 27 June 2011: June harvest

Three cucumbers, one aubergine, two Trébons sweet onions and one large Lézignan sweet onion, as well as some herbs to go with them. The garden is just getting into its full summer production, with a lot to pick and look forward to this morning - it was looking very good despite our neglect of it yesterday when we went gallivanting to Béziers, and we rewarded the plants with a lot of water on another hot day.

There are several red tomatoes that will be ready to pick tomorrow or the day after.

Our last Occitan class before the summer break tonight, so this is probably the last photo I'll take today - no time to go out looking for balconies as I'm trying to write a poem in Occitan about yesterday's trip for the class. It won't be any good - it can't be! - but it's fun.
