Thursday 30 June 2011: Caught in a trap

The clouds turned black at lunchtime and it looked as if it was going to pour down. Frustratingly, by 2 pm the sun was out again and it looked lovely.

Had to stop off for a quick shop on the way home to get ingredients for a pasta salad for tomorrow. We are hoping that the sun will shine so that we can have a lunchtime picnic in the garden at work to say goodbye to one of our colleagues who is off on maternity leave shortly. Pasta now cooked and avocado dressing is sitting in the fridge - fingers crossed that it doesn't go black overnight.....

Poked around the garden in search of a photo and found this fairy caught in a spider's web. I like the negative shapes made by the web strands, the blurry background and the fine strands of the 'fairy'.

I've realised that I'm sitting in a room with Husband, son number one AND son number two ....not very often that the whole family are in the same room at the same time these days. Lovely.
