Fishing Station

We went to Redpoint this morning and kept walking until we got to the abandoned fishing station another of kilometres further along. It looked as if people had used it within the relatively distant past by the looks of the modern nylon rope. These posts for hanging, drying and mending nets were still standing with wire hanging off them.

A poignant memory of a more economically vibrant north west highlands. Sorry about the squint horizon.

For those who are interested: Mr Midge is mainly grounded by the wind.
