Saturday 23 July 2011: Damsel in Distress
Sorry, I've waited a long time to use that title. This beautiful damselfly is caught in a very sticky spider web, but I didn't see the spider. Usually they come scooting along as soon as something gets stuck, and begin their wrapping operation. I hate to see food going to waste, but I think the web is abandoned.
