A beautiful clear sunny day after a hard frost. It's amazing how warm the sunshine is now. I noticed it particularly this morning when I was standing on crisp, frosty grass, with the pleasant warmth on my back.

We have had a lovely weekend, but now my son is taking my daughter home to Christchurch.
