This is a really great lens, it's a 24mm so with the crop factor it comes to 36mm equivalent on the D70. I bought it so I would have a wide angle for my film camera, but I have been using it a lot on my digital instead.

It's wide enough to capture landscapes and great for taking pictures of people and it opens up to f2.8 so it's pretty good in low light too. It's not too wide to cause a lot of distortion and with the very short minimum focal length, it lets me get in very close.

I got it used on Ebay for a great price even though it was in pristine condition.
