Woodturning - Chestnut Clock

Most of the morning was taken up making arrangements with the builders. We were planning to drive to London tomorrow, however things were going well, so a change of plan, speedy pack and off.

We had a reasonable drive down, and as we were going to hit Birmingham around 5 pm, decided the £5.30 fee for the Toll Road would be worth it. Every hour the temperature just got warmer and warmer.

Arrived at our Teddington destination at 8 pm precisely, by then it was 28C. The first thing I noticed in our friends' hall was the new clock. They are enthusiastic woodturners, and this was a piece J created to show various methods and timbers.

11 o'clock : Earring - Purple Heart
12 o'clock : Segmented Bowl - Oak and Black Walnut
