Tattered but succulent bee balm still nourishes this shimmering female Ruby Throat. He with his scarlet neck scarf lurks in the greenery and gives chase when he spots her. I must be quick and ever so lucky to get my image. Brilliant as soap bubbles in the sun, these tiny birds never fail to lift, move and restore me.
