The meandering journey...

I am in the middle of a 5-day backpacking trip that takes me, two other staff members, and 7 awesome dudes up two 14ers and this is our middle day. We hike 10 miles on the Colorado Trail with full packs ending the day with a 1.75 mile hike up a mountain gaining 1000+ feet in elecvation! There is a quote I really enjoy that says...

"The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination."

The Mountains are our goal but it's days like today that we remember and know we worked for!
